How not to face problems on your vacation?
I’m a permanent guest of the site and I want to share my experience of the previous trip with triplia’s visitors and to give them some useful tips about how to make their journey unforgettable and not to worry about vacation conditions.
Last summer I decided to spend my vacation in Tunisia. This country seemed to me very exotic and obscure. And I like to go into uncharted territories. I bought a package holiday at a tour firm and self-satisfied I went to Africa. I dreamed of sand beaches and azure sea, clear sky and friendly Tunisian people and, certainly, I wanted to relax from daily routine without a thought of tiding up and cooking. That’s why I chose an expensive five-star hotel with all the conveniences one has ever needed.
The first day in Tunisia was great. I was impressed by its nature, exotic food and friendly indigenous people. I faced with the problems after a few days. My room hadn’t been tided for a couple of the days, my menu contained fried potatoes and a steak (every day!) instead of the promised seafood and fruits, their Internet room was awful. I-net failed every day and it couldn’t even connect with my country’s server. I was completely fed up when I got ill and went to the doctor’s who didn’t even examine me. I came to the hotel manager but he didn’t speak English. I was embarrassed. I was a total outsider in a foreign country and I didn’t know what to do. I hated Tunisia!
Luckily, my vacation came to the end and when I returned home I met my friend who had also been to Tunisia that summer. To my great surprise he was so exited by Tinisia that he wanted to go there next summer. When I asked him how it could be so that the same country stirs up hate and love of different people, he gave me some tips which were very useful to me later. Now I want to share them with you:
1. Make sure you deal with a serious firm. Ask your friends and mates if they have heard about it anything.
2. Always inquire about insurance policy in case you are ill.
3. Make sure that Internet (if you need it) works fine in the place you are going to.
4. Take as many medicine as you can in case you’re ill.
5. The most important! Don’t be lazy! Surf through the Net various hotels at the place you are traveling to according to your tastes. Nowadays there are many sites in the Net that provide you with a good hotel choice and which you can rely on. My friend found his hotel in Tunisia at www.hotelscombined.com. This website compares over 30 of major reservation sites at once and gives the full information about the hotels all over the world according to your demands of Wi-Fi Internet, seafood, 5-star hotels and so on.
Finally, I wish you the best journey and remember: your unique vacation depends on where you stay.
